VETERINARIAN KYLE CLARK

Kyle Clark, VMD
ACVSMR Veterinary Resident

Dr. Kyle Clark was born and raised in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  In 2010, he earned his Bachelor of Science, with Distinction, from the University of Delaware where he studied Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine focus, and afterwards went on to obtain his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was honored with the New Bolton Center Patient Care Award in 2014.

After completing a rotating internship at the University of Tennessee Large Animal Hospital, Dr. Clark went on to be an Associate Veterinary at Chicago Equine Hospital, where he started to focus his career in equine sports medicine, working closely with hunter and jumper, dressage, and eventing athletes at top show venues. He has a special interest in lameness and comprehensive poor performance evaluation and is currently pursuing advanced certification in diagnostic imaging through the International Society for Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP). Dr. Clark is passionate about building strong relationships with riders, trainers, and owners, and takes pride in helping each horse feel and perform their very best — both in and out of the ring.

In his spare time Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie (a small animal veterinarian!) and their Golden Retriever, Libby.

Dr. Clark is currently completing non-traditional residency hours with East-West to eventually become a boarded veterinary specialist in sports medicine and rehabilitation from the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation (ACVSMR). We are excited to have him assist us during the winter circuit at the Desert International Horse Park so he can obtain his hours and gain important experience under Dr. Peter’s tutelage.
